Travel documents
Every traveler is responsible for carrying all the necessary travel documents that comply with both the airline's regulations and the entry regulations of the destination country. Any costs or fees resulting from missing or invalid documents are borne by the passenger. To ensure a smooth journey, atestravel recommends that you always have a valid passport and, if necessary, a visa ready.
Check-in
We advise our travelers to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure. The check-in counters close 40 minutes before departure, so please allow enough time.
Children travelling alone
Special rules apply to children travelling unaccompanied to ensure their safety. Parents are advised to prepare the trip well together with their child. Please note: Online bookings for children travelling alone are currently not possible.
Children are considered to be travelling alone at Ates Travel if they:
- Children between 5 and 11 years old travelling without adult supervision
- Children between 3 and 5 years old travelling with an accompanying person aged 12 to 15 years
At the request of the parents, supervision can be organised during the flight for young people between 12 and 18 years old. The booking must be made by the parents or the person picking them up. Please ensure that all necessary documents are complete.
Support for travelers with special needs
Ates Travel offers special assistance services at the airport and on board for travelers with reduced mobility or special needs. Trained staff are available to assist you at check-in, during the flight and after landing. Many airports provide wheelchairs and companions free of charge. Our aircraft are equipped with adjustable armrests for greater comfort. If you require a wheelchair, we recommend that you check in 120 minutes before departure.
